My daughter is 9 years old and we started piano lessons when she was 4. We tried different musical schools and individual teachers, but we weren't able to find the ideal combination and balance of teaching skills and a personal touch, until we started lessons with Hitomi 2 years ago. The lessons are fun and my daughter is not waiting for this time as a chore to complete, instead she is looking forward to a new lesson with the teacher. Hitomi has outstanding teaching quality, a lot of patience and can feel if the child understood a particular subject or requires more work. Her personal touch allows us to choose the pace the child is more comfortable with. Hitomi is so dedicated and in love with the subject she is teaching, we feel so grateful we have the opportunity to study piano with her.
