Honens 2021 Pro-Am

I am very excited to be one of the five pianists competing in the 2021 Honens Amateur Piano Competition on November 27. Honens is a Calgary non-profit organization well known internationally for its prestigious classical piano competition which is held every three years. In the local community Honens is known for the work it does supporting music education and local pianists. Playing in this year's Pro-Am competion brings to fruition an ambition of mine from 2016, when I watched some of the competitors in that year's Honens competition during a recital in the lobby of the Husky Building where I worked at the time.

This year's competition is taking plance on Saturday November 27 at the Bella Concert Hall at Mount Royal University. For more information please refer to the Honen's Piano Competition for Amateurs page at honens.com.
